I found comfort in the sun today
Its warmth wrapped around me
Its rays attached to my back
Was it because you're not here
Unable to wrap your arms around me
Or hold me close to your body
But I found comfort in the sun today
It urged me to move forward
It helped me along the way
Shining down on me and staying all the way
Trying to understand why you couldn't stay
Thinking of how I love you just the other day
But I found comfort in the sun today
Shining bright enought to guide me through the day
And setting only when I could find my way.
